During a 60 mile motorcycle ride home in a downpour, I learned that my old jacket was not even close to waterproof. I had water leaking in the seams within the first 60 seconds! It wouldn't have been so bad if I had some wind protection, but my new bike has literally none.

I didn't really expect it to be that low either, did my usual searches on trademe to see if there was any bargains, and it worked this time. Was too busy last night, so just about to get started on some listening. Should be a nice upgrade from my Headfive.

Just got some foam sheets for a drumset mod. I only have a wii and just got rockband for my bday. More fun than guitar hero, but much easier.

Comparo of noncovered vs. covered - It's 2 layered. So far so good in the sound dampening department. Don't know if the white will stay clean though. I guess we will find out.

I need to do something to add some rebound. Got to think about that one. But next up: beater pedal.
