A few CD's and Pioneer DV-58AV. I figured it's not a bad place to start my digital source evolution.

Lenovo Ideapad Y510. Really liking this laptop so far. It has good sound for a laptop. Four
speakers on the top of the machine. It even has a sub woofer on the bottom

. But
even better is that the design and built quality seem very good.

It was actually a steal. So I have always wanted a Thinkpad/Lenovo branded machine. I was walking around in Office Depot and see the laptops they have out. The guy "employee" came up to me and said were moving stuff around and not all of our laptops are on display. He goes and gets me a little pad that shows what else they have in stock. One is the Ideapad Y510. Price is on sale for $699. They listed at $899. At this point I was already considering it. He then pulls out another piece of paper and he says ohh they also have a $125 mail in rebate on top of that. I couldn't resist I'm like I'll take it lol. So glad I got it too. Great laptop. This was on Friday.

Serious? So you got it for $575?

Considering i paid $700 (£350, which was a killer deal in febuary) for a 15.4 toshiba satellite with a 1.6 c2d, 120gb, 2gb ram, belkin laptop bag, WUXGA screen, and Vista Home Premium.

Whats the spec on that?

What does the strip accross the top of the keyboard do? Nice, not keen on the buttons and no trackpoint which i wish my tosh had, and would love to have, but for less than my laptop cost, and a lenovo, its a killer deal, and 12" is nice too. Part of me wants to keep my 22" gaming desktop, and my 15.4 laptop (saved for over a year) and save for an Eee900, save size as 700 but no bezel on screen, so 9", but they have loads more eee's planned, confusing.

Oneday i will have a phone with wi-fi, my d2, and a 12" laptop, sorted.

Internet on the go in the phone, and a small laptop to carry around and chuck in a bag when i go to college (couple of years away) and to use at dads, nice and easy to transport while not being too small to use as a primary computer when at dads. Desktop at home, 12" laptop in lounge/bed.

Yea as long as I get the rebate. Here are the specs of it
15" Widescreen Intel Core 2 Duo @ 1.8GHZ, 3GB Ram, 160GB HD,Webcam, wifi etc.. Came with Vista Home. I wiped it to get rid of Lenovo partitions etc and did a fresh install of Vista Ultimate.

The keys across the top are for different App launchers or audio equalizers. Also does play/pause ....

I tried one of the Asus Eeepc's and didn't care for it to much. Screen resolution was not good enough for me. Also I have to use a cd/dvd drive a lot something it does not have. I ended up putting it up on ebay after only using it a short time. Yes its small but for only a few more $ you can get a "Real laptop". Sure its nowhere as portable but you have everything you need. If you need just email/web and basic functions I would even consider the iPod Touch first. I got one of those and it has been incredible.

An Apuresound v3 XLR to spades cable, for hooking the AKG K1000 up to the RWA Signature 30.2.

Well, it has to be shipped my way. But I have bought it (aka paid for it).

Edit: That goes for both the Apuresound v3 XLR to spades cable and the RWA Signature 30.2.
