No, bought them from a guy who has had them since 2006. The owner before him bought them new in 1976 in the UK. As I understand it, the drivers in this pair were also used in Manley monitors, of which more were made than the Tannoy version. Sound hella good though.

yep, its somewhat modified. and its the best CDP i have heard yet.

you are completely wrong. - i use the SCHP-1002 which is the EU equivalent of the 1001, which is the correct 'audiophile' model, it does have native inbuilt RCA inputs, but that signal path takes it through cheap opamps and a series of capacitors that further degrade the signal, the ultimate path is straight from DAC, via the AV multi out RCA's, this is a much cleaner, blacker sound and something that a lot of PS1 users do not comprehend.

I just did my homework on this, and it appears that your kvikk lunsj is quite similar to the Western Kit Kat... but two years too late.

Seems like you are right.
Kit Kat => Launched September 1935 in the UK.
Kvikk Lunsj => Launched 1937 (no date found) in Norway.

Both of them are real classic chocolates...
