The only time I have seen peppers called capsicum is in Indian restaurants.When I have tried using that word in the past people had no idea what I was talking about

. and i am indian, so i guess that is why. the thing is that green peppers are called capsicums. they are the ones i bought, as the other ones would be a bit too sweet to use in this pasta. so capsicums, as far as i am aware, is the actual technical term for the ones i bought.

but it doesn't surprise me one bit that indians are the only ones to call them that, i have had to explain my use of capsicums vs peppers many times before.

anyway, i forget what your, or indeed my point was

I will prove this to you next time you are in Portland or next time I'm in the UK Gman,perhaps with some capsicum marsala.
