Just bought a ton of Ikea furniture. No pictures of the boxes but I've got 2 new bookshelves, 2 desks (1 with extra drawers), a TV stand, a desk chair, and a bed frame for the new queen.

Also recently rebought the Ultrasone Pro 750. Along with a PS3...and about 10 new Blurays.

New apartment rocks.

Bought an imported Nook Color and flashed it to bits with CyanogenMod7's latest nightly. Overclocked it from 800mhz to 1200mhz and installed Chainfire 3D Tegra plugins. Purrs smoothly now.

ProgLover, those look like really nice speakers. How do you like them?

Those are some old Tannoy's from the 80's I picked up on Dutch local ebay ("marktplaats") 3 days ago; Mercury MKII.
For the price, they are pretty nice speakers. No high end, but a nice sound for a small room setup.

Today, a pair of other Tannoys came in; the somewhat newer (and smaller) Mercury M1:

I've only compared them for 15 minutes sofar, but I think I like  ^these a little bit more. They seem a bit more balanced in sound, the MKII have a bit more treble and lacks in the lows a little bit. Surprisingly, the smaller M1's do the lows better.
Both make my B&W 603 sound like a controllless and muddy bass beast in the small room (603 is too much for it, that's why I was looking for something smaller)

Downstairs in the living room, I got a pair of Phonar P200's (left) a couple of weeks ago to replace my B&W 603 s1's (right). So the 603's went to the little audio room upstairs, but were just too much for such a small room. Bass, which is already overly present with the 603 s1's, is awful there.
