It's significant because I haven't bought anything that costed more than 150$ in a while. Being a college student and all.

^ Congratulations!

That Ducati 848 sure looks great. With its L-twin engine and all its racing history...

I am drooling on a 1198S myself, so we will see what happens next year.

I thought about the 1198. But I already have a liter bike. I wanted something I can really flick around without worrying about getting in over my head. I actually was almost about to move up to a 1198 when I thought there were problems getting my 848. The other thing is if I got a 1198 then I would have wanted the 1198S which is way out of my budget.

Have you seen the new 2010 models. Four different 1198s. Base, S, S Corse, and R Corse.

I'm known on way too many sites as zx10guy so it's staying. Besides I still own this one:

Yeah. LOL. I need to get some confidence as evidenced by my chicken strips. Need some BBQ sauce.

Makes sense!
I though you had or were going to part with the ZX10. But since it will stay around a 848 is plenty, and if/when you want to ride really hard you can always take the ZX10...

I saw pictures of the four 2010 models. The Course looks stunning, but the 1198S is already too expensive.

That thing is sweet!
{Aherm} Will it work with these crappy ipod dock remotes? Most universals don't do that.

any harmony remote should, as they can learn the ir from the original remote, so yes.
