Hey guys I was recommended to come to this forum from AVS. I'm looking for a portable pro logic II processor for my headphones. I love my Onkyo 805's PLII music but it has made every other source sound dull and lifeless. I've read that the JVC SU-DH1 isn't the best for music unless you want a concert like effect (which I do not) so that seems to be out of the picture.

I don't think one exists, but there are some alternatives.  Cowon DAPs have similar DSP effects that you may enjoy.  Also Headroom's amps have crossfeed switch, but that's probably a lot more subtle that what you are looking for.
