The M3 from amb labs is not portable, but should have plenty of power for the K701s page here: The M³ Stereo Headphone Amplifier

Also, for the PPA I suggested earlier, to make it portable would require use of tangent's battery board.

If the purpose of the amp is just to use in another room in the house, I don't see why battery power is necessary. A small, luggable home amp should be OK. That's what I would do.

But if i decide to take it to a hotel or somewhere along the lines like that. I would like it if it was in a portable enclosure and have the option to be plugged in or ran off batteries.
