I am looking for a digital player that I can use with my Fiio E17. This means it needs to either have coax or optical out or support the E17 on USB OTG. Does such a product exist without breaking the bank?

Cowon D3 can output SPDIF using Cowon's proprietary cable.

It does, the rate limiting step isn't USB OTG, it is the host device. My E17 works with my Archos G9 Turbo.

I am watching the xduoo X10 closely to see if it will support digital output on USB OTG. If it does, I think it will be ideal.

It also appears the xduoo X10 supports spd/if optical out. The problem with this is that most headphone amps have coaxial spd/if...
