I'll make time to listen to a staple of the repertoire like this. I own the Herbert von Karajan bluray with Seiji Ozawa conducting this and Anne-Sophie Mutter performing the solo, but it was a somewhat uninspiring performance. Technically, it was very clean, just not very fun.
