In a special Movies and Musicals programme, Aedín Gormley introduces the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra Live in Dublin.

Irish conductor and composer Eímear Noone joins the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra with soloists Jack L and Sibéal, for a special concert of favourite film scores.

Including Up by Michael Giacchino, Ennio Morricone's much-loved scoring of Once Upon a Time in America, and Thomas Newman’s The Shawshank Redemption. Eímear also conducts the fantastical orchestral scores from popular games including Tomb Raider, Legend of Zelda and her own soundtrack to Malach.

Last Night's New Year's Day Concert from the RDS, Dublin. David Brophy conducts the RTE Concert Orchestra.

A feast of glorious Strauss waltzes and polkas and the perennial New Year’s Day favourite Radetsky March. Star soprano Celine Byrne adds some sparkle for the day with Lehár and Sieczyński. Join us to toast a new year and better times ahead!
