LM, Artificial Robot-like Lady does exist in Japan too(Kanoh sisters)...like this. sadly they slightly lack humanity... :)

Are they real robots with extra large dual battery packs?

No Friday concerts for a while but I did go to one last night (that I mentioned earlier in the week) and I will refer to it over the weekend.

Try to be patient with this piece, as there are some very nice violin sections. You may need to listen a few times to appreciate it.
