There has been much discussion about internal soundcards having interference, as well as people with USB DACs with interference. Hopefully, a poll can shed some light on which one is more prevalent with interference!

Anyways, I had a lot of issues with interference with my USB DAC that I couldn't get rid of with USB hubs, USB isolators. I ended up buying a DAC that takes optical SPDIF. Works like a charm.

Sennheiser GSX 1000 (USB DAC with 7.1 to headphone surround sound) out to a Schitt Magni 2 and no interference. I don't even hear mobile phone clicks when the phone is right near to it so it really does a fantastic job of filtering that out.

Hmmm, this poll suggests that I'm insanely unlucky. I've had two USB DACs on a desktop and two different laptops and I had noise in every configuration, even with battery power.

Doesn't matter if you use battery of mains. Once that CPU or SSD gets utilized a lot, it makes a coil whine noise and that messes up your USB DAC

Well, I'm literally the only person out of 11 people here that has an issue with it, and with multiple combinations of devices.
