Maybe it's just a crazy idea, but in this thread http://www6.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=161083
the idea for a head-fi logo sticker was "born".
ok, it started out as a kind of joke

first, but what do you think about it.
Would you wear a small head-fi logo sticker, or a button?

EDIT: As some might not want to "harm" their precious headphones (thank you fewtch

) or backpacks, etc.
think of a button as well.

well i wasnt thinking anything huge, just like one of those small dot stickers, in a flourescent color.

doesnt even have to have a logo, as long as its easily visible yaknow

Just take the logo like this, i'd say:

that'd be too big, esp for people with buds and IEMs.

it doesn't even have to have a logo, just a small, bright, sticker thats noticeable if somebody were to take a second glance at the cans you are wearing.

Yea, but with iem's and buds you would always have a problem.
take the ety er6i for example. there's no place even for a small sticker.
just a real tiny, tiny, tiny one

You could but it on your backpack instead.
i doesn't necessarily be on the headphone. or just make buttons as well.

Buttons is a GOOD idea, and the head-fi logo is the right shape for a tie-pin for those of us who wear suits to work...

Nope, I wouldn't deface my cans with a sticker, no matter what the sticker said.

Anyway, hardly anybody's gonna see 'em but me. I'm a little mystified by this thread and not sure exactly what's being suggested... is it definitely a sticker that goes on headphones? If so, how do you determine the maximum size? Where would it be placed... with open headphones you couldn't put them on the earcups, and might be impossible to see if placed on the headband.

Why not just encourage people to get a Head-Fi T-Shirt instead of this...

That's where the button might come into play.......
Is not about the idea of a sticker itself.

the idea in the other thread was, that it would be cool, if you could identify someone as a member of head-fi.
of course you could do it with the t-shirts as well.
