I am looking for some M8161 tube for the LD MKIVSE
 
but i found two on ebay...
which one should i get????

it just the item description is a bit confusing

I can't say because I don't use that particular tube, but what I can say is to be careful when buying Mullards off of eBay.  Many Mullards are counterfeits, especially if the price seems to be very good.  I also avoid auctions where the descriptions are confusing.  It's not because they may be intentionally tricking the buyer, but more so because they may not know exactly what they have.

Well, I would go with  the #2 you listed (M8161).  There are small shield and large shield.  These seem to be small shield. Large shield was more accessible a while back.  I have both and the differences are not night and day.  That being said, I have purchased many tubes from triodeel (#1) and have tested them myself after receiving them and they are always as described.
 
The listings are not confusing, there are just many variants when dealing with EF91, 92, and 95.  EF95 has the most variants of the three.
 
Just remember, a jumper setting is needed on the MKIVSE when switching from EF95 to the EF91 & 92 family.
