I did try searching so apologies if I am asking something already answered - has anyone tried a Cowon Plenue S with the new Sandisk micro400GB? I asked my dealer here in UK to ask Cowon but I got an ambivalent response - I don’t want to waste £220!

Any advice greatly received

With Any Cowon Player, it is safe to say that the max GB for any microsd card is what is listed on the spec page:

So, safe to say NO. It maxes at 200gb.

Thanks for this - I have a 256GB card working perfectly in my S which is why I hoped someone else might have tried the 400GB - it is a shame you can't contact Cowon

Someone did a while back on the Plenue D. They did get a response back after some time.

FYI, your 256GB card is NOT working perfectly.

The Cowon player will only read the first 200Gb. The extra files will appear in folder view, but will not be playable.

as an update to this now the price of the microSD 400GB is down to £80 here in UK I bought one and it works - all the files are there and I have played a random selection and everything plays... if I discover some which don’t I will post here but so far so good

I just loaded up a 400GB sansdisk and I am happy to report it worked flawlessly for me!

400 gig card say filled to 330 gigs all folder shows up ? Would like that for my P2. The L has enough as is cause it comes with 256 internal plus a 256 sd card I put.

When I listen in the SD folder everything is functioning and present and there has been no slowing of response time. Seems to take a few seconds longer to start it up... but I could be wrong

Great, I have an old PM2 and hope a 400 gig will work in that dap.
