I am looking for a DAP/IEM or headphones for a budget of $500 to $600. I was thinking of a Cayin N5ii and a Fiio F9 Pro combo but I am open to suggestions.

I listen mostly to classical music but I tend to like a lot of different types of music.

Any DAP/IEM combos in that price range worth investigating?

I would go shanling M3s and Ibasso IT01.

Apparently the N5ii and IT01 DAP/IEM combo works like gangbusters.

I own both. Unless cayin figures out some newer firmware to fix all the bugs that are being reported.

Like I said Shanling M3s and IT01.

Does the Shanling have Wifi? I do no see it mentioned anywhere.

No it has bluetooth but no wifi. If you want streaming then look into the N5ii.

Currently Cayin is trying to fix the many bugs on the player you can read the thread.

Wifi is on the "nice to have" but not essential list. I have read most the the Shanling thread on the forum and the only complaint I seemed to find was about the plastic case that comes with it. Not bad compared to some of the other DAPs I read about.
