Compared to almost all here, I have a relatively small collection of ALAC encoded files in the 75Gb region.  I do go to the library and rip CD's, and buy what I like, but I don't see myself ever getting to what some of the collections are on here.  But I have the rest of my life to try.

I have never found a use for FLAC files, so i'm under 250. I typicaly download on average 100 albums per year.

Hi Jude I have more than a terabyte, as I mainly listen to either red book quality or HD quality tracks, I do have a few mp3s however they are not my preference when I purchase new music.

A single copy of my entire collection in .wav takes up 211gb, there are only a couple of hi-res albums in that the rest is 16/44.1 mostly ripped from CD.

Depends on what you mean by "*all* my music/media". I have about 500GB of WAV files for my main system, with FLAC copies on a backup drive for 300GB and then 190GB in MP3 copies of the same library for my portable gear. If I could get my Samsung to recognize my external DAC, I'd have 300GB in FLAC files on a drive that it accesses. But each of these is a separate copy of the library for a specific use.

I have both a lossy collection and a lossless collection, everything I have that is lossless I have also transcoded to lossy formats (gerenally MP3 VBR 192) so there are duplicates, I also keep a separate backup of all music on a second drive (in case of drive failure or user-error)

My Lossless collection is around 220GB (x2 due to redundancy), Lossless around 100GB...

My stored media is just my music now, with my collection somewhere around 400gb I think. I used to have a lot of video media, and then my collection was well over a terabyte, but these days I have subscription to video streaming services, and if I really love something and want to own it, I buy the Bluray.

Around 400Gb on my netbook, and 750Gb on my external drive. Mostly lossless :)

Currently around 4T. If anyone else is approaching the 1T size I would seriously recommend checking out beets: http://beets.radbox.org/

Edit: That's 4T of music. It is mostly lossless and I've recently been converting SACDs over to DFF (now that mutagen has added support). I have a good close friend group of collectors that purchases and shares around. I've become the archive for most of our collections.
