I was wondering the same but apparently the Tinhifi P1 was already using a 1 micron driver. As a reference Lcdi4 uses 0.5 micron and Timeless 2 micron.Seems like the 1 Micron driver is a genuine novelty. Can anyone confirm?
Thanks - wasn't so easy to find out.

Thank you for the pointer, I didn't know them.Ali is expensive! Me. HIFIGo - $89.96 Ali: 114.25$
Dear friend,Hi Fiio, Why did you choose 2 pin connections? Is this the first Fiio IEM with this connection?
Hi, there are many MMCX-connector earphone cables. However, expanded MMCX connectors are required for better reliability, which are more expensive. In contrast, 2-pin connector cables are fewer on the market, but they have cheaper costs. Some custom earphones usually feature 2-pin connectors due to special resin material used. We have to control the cost of the FP3, so we give up the MMCX connector.
It is not the first FIIO IEM with 0.78 connector.
Best regards

Dear friend,I'm in! I've been looking at the presale sites and they describe a swappable 3.5/4.4 plug but the only option is 3.5mm. Will you be offering a 4.4 version?
Hi, sorry about that. The FP3 does not have 4.4mm plug version. We have fixed this mistake in the website.
Best regards

Dear friend," *FP3 TC is expected to be launched in December. "
What is FP3 TC?
It is the FP3 which comes with the Type C cable instead.
Best regards

I went ahead and ordered a these. These are very cheap compared to what I normally buy - kilobuck IEMS but would like a planar set that doesn't use same planar driver as everyone else is using. Would love to see how these graph.

Ehelyett az FP3-hoz tartozik a C típusú kábel.

I would contact support. I have another planer set from different company and all is good from day 1.I don't know how much run-in it needs. I've been in for 30 hours, but the high sounds are hissing, irritating! The low sounds are nice.

Just got the FP3, after about 10hrs of burn in/leting in run in overnight it seems to have smoothen out alot of the top end peak-fi.One thing I noticed is that interestingly the tesla valve gives its own timbre where there is a soft fade out effect to the decay at I noticed in the FD15 as well. The part about the thiness is true but I disagree with ian that warmer souces are better. A highly detailed and controled source showcases how nice and smooth yet sharp and precise it is. One think Ive noticed is that if you listen at high volumes you might want to lower your gain as high gain can push the lower treble up by quite a big amount which is nice at low volume but can overwelm when cranking the knob.
Edit:
Now on the go with the onix xm5. Tbh the more full bodied sound makes it sound like it's on tubes but without the expended soundstage. Might play with tips later tonight once I come back from work but I can hear a particular spike at around 5k but it's not particularly annoying. The anti sib 6k dip is strong with this unit though. It's covering up minor tonal inflection which I guess makes for a more "musical?" Sound. Being a person for the small things though it's quite the drawback.

Damn that is one long nozzle even though the notch only starts halfways. Anyways Dunu S&S I found to be really nice with the FP3 because it fully couples to the back of my first bend and that one 5kish peak is gone. Interestingly I guess because of the nozzle design the mids isnt particularly pushed forward which I guess is because of the long nozzle minimizing the internal reflections though the tip stem. Also the trade off is that the sib area(6kish) is raised and imaging is much more defined esp for vocals. Highly recommend this tips for anyone getting the FP3.

My video about FP3. In short — great value for the price, pretty technical, but not dry sound
