Ah that's a good question. All I can see i Sharp, not sure what model. I keep seeing MiniDisc players and am getting very tempted.

Hehe, I'm lucky I have my wife to keep me in check. I made some BIG mistakes with Credit Cards when I was youngers....took a while to get out of THAT hole.

This is basically my portable desktop rig. My portable gear is far too expansive to picture here.

It consists of HD650 phones,Moon Audio Silver Dragon Interconnects and HD replacment cable,Ray Samuels Emmeline XP7 amp and Sony D25s player.

I don´t think they were as much a dirty little secret as much as a business failure. The idea was to take a similar design as the SR-60s and produce headphones cheaply in China, from what I understand. They thought they could capture some of the lower end ´Sony-type´market. Apparently, it was not a success. I guess people familiar with the Grado name are not interested in budget stuff. However, I´ve got to tell you these headphones are pretty sweet. I bought them used for $35 and they easily outperform my other headphones in the <$100 range, including the D66 and KSC-35.

Really, that's quite interesting. Any chances of a close up pic of those?
