Wow, nice rig. But do i see a headroom amp picking there in one of the last pictures? How does the headroom differ from the iQube? Also, do you connect your iPod without caps? How does that work out. How big was the advantage in SQ? And which iPod do you use? And what is your plan for the future ("iMod for now")?

That's very astute. YOu do see a Headroom peeking in there beside the iCube. I like the Headroom portable especially with the DAC option on. It is not as neutral as the iCube and generally not as high resolution in the mids and highes (although some of that is the Silver Dragon cable). I also think the soundstage is "wider" on the iCube. That is a drawback of the crossfeed in the Headroom. With it on, I find the presentation a bit "myopic". But, I like them both I must confess.

zune 80 to boa via headphone out (waiting for true line-out) - triple-fi's. in a crumpler Bundle (Large) with the UE metal travel case plus the Gomadic 4aa charger with Tip Exchange (tip is in pocket) so to never run out of juice

other times i just grab the zune with the triple's and run with them in my pocket. ultra portable with big sound
