Yeah, I've been hanging out, following the discussions and paying ($$) attention on all accounts.

Got a couple good deals and have about $950 in this rig. I upgraded from a pair of Ety E6's fitted with custom sleeves. I liked the Ety's but eventually wore out the cord and wanted to move up to a lower profile in-ear with replaceable cords. I live in Colorado so the Westone ES2 were a no-brainer for me.

BTW, I got a perfect first time fit from my audiologist and the good folks at Westone.

way cool, how is it sounding, can you compare it to some "normal" headphones/IEM? does it run on bateries? what about comfort? looks like a pain in the .... ear...

Sounds great, better than any iem or buds I tried (vmoda, ER6i, some Shures). Comfort is not that bad, not the most comfortable headset, but I can listen for about 2 hours, after that my ears stat to get tired of it.

Thanks Monolith / Feedmetrance and to the rest of you head-fiers for the tutoring.

BTW, FMT do you have a picture of the (Qable) cable you mentioned? OMG it's happening again....
