The Minbox-E was my first amp and I highly doubt I'll be buyer another (portable) amp. It's just a great value. Make sure to burn it in for about 200 hours before you make any judgments on the amp. It changes a lot during that time.

Oh and about the switches, while listening to music I never use the switches but that is due in part to my enjoyment of "neutral" sound. They do however come in handy when watching movies or playing games.

The PtoS switch however is a godsend for IEM's IMO. It activates a 75 Ohm resistor (I think) that just makes IEM's sound "right". They sound more full and there's more definition and texture to the bass with the E4c's as-well as more defined mids and highs.

Oh my that's bad I really wanted to buy one, but I was a bit slow, I sure hope they will get them back in stock.
