Here's my latest portable setup (H320 w/Super.fi 5Pros)
I've gone from a Rio Karma w/PX200 > E3 to H320 w/ E3 to this.

for such a nice player i think you should upgrade the headphone. also what the heck, they wasted 1/6th of the screen for the phrase "color sound".

Really? That is too bad. I've never heard the Karma, but my AV320 sounds better than a 4th gen iPod or the iRiver players I have heard.

I got the dock for free from the shop I ordered it from.
I will order very soon(probably this week) the alessandro's ms-1.
can't tell you much about the sq-difference between the two(cause I don't have the right cans tot test it, and since I got my x5 I haven't listened to my iriver).
I hooked the two up to my amplifier and I found that the x5 sounded a bit clearer (but I am no audiophile). once I get the alessandro's I probably can tell the difference better and will post it then.

Damn, I wish we had that kind of selection of flash players up here. All we got are overpriced Sonys, old iRiver 7xx's, Creative n200s and then all the noname knockoffs. I was seriously considering a flash player before getting my H10.

The selection here (OH) ain't that great either, I had to buy all my flash players on the web from jetaudio.com and iriver. My best buy has sandisk, iriver 800 series and some samsungs, and of course shuffles out the butt! Not much else. Circuit city has the same except they have the n200s.

The new sony e 507 is really sweet though. Where are you- Canada?

I've had these since I was in grade 7!
So that's like 2002. Still works fine, but is beginning to pause randomly and skip to the end.

I'm hoping to get an H10 20 GB and some Etymotic ER-4P.
Thats pretty expensive right there. I also want to start soldering and make my own cables and amps. (It's better than spending money on drugs.)

EDIT: I couldn't find a camera, so I scanned my portables.

I still have my gold MZ-N505 I had mine since the 7th or 8th grade also, the buttons are all crosswired but I can use it with a remote if i want to. Seriously I haven't used it in a entire year I went to go check it out the other day to see if it was working alright and went to pick it up it was covered with a thick blanket of dust. It still works good but it's all beatup looking.

Personally, I've never owned a portable CD Player or radio.
The MZ-N505 was my first portable, but the thing is starting to get to me, it pauses randomly and the buttons don't function properly. But it does what it was designed for... Playing music, to some degree.

It just bugs me when people tell me to get somthing new cause this thing is honking big. But their's only hold 256 MB of songs and are usualy singles. I prefer the albums.

But I plan on replacing this baby with an IRiver H10 with possible e4c's or Super.Fi 5EB or whatever.

But I just need to take it one step at a time I guess, make my wallet suffer even longer
