IEM: Ostry KC06a
DAP: Sansa Clip+ (Rockboxed)
Amp: AMB Mini³

It went past 200usd sooooo... . It ends up in this thread.. .

I'm loving this budget rig. So far, the KC06a is raising the bar pretty high..

My nighttime relaxation rig.

Yamaha PRO500 / iPod Classic (Rockbox)

PRO500 are rather warm in mid-range tonality though a little boost in treble from Rockbox lifts the veil making them a rather unique listening experience. Similar to Sony's house sound PRO500 have their own tone/timbre which is quite addictive.

Main rig is:

S4 (UAPP) --> self modded USB OTG micro to USB B --> iFi Nano iDSD

Second rig is:

iPod Classic 7 --> Custom Nordost LOD --> FiiO E11

And for compact living - an S4 case with an Audioquest Dragonfly dual-locked to it, and a home made slim USB OTG cable.

Headphones are Focal Spirit Classic with Supra 3,5 mm exchange cable.

Thanks guys!!

The E11 bump is a regular antislip cut to the right proportions and with a suitable hole for the USB charging port, and no, I do not have 2 S4s. If I want to go really portable, I'll just move it from the iFi to the Dragonfly case

Some DIY was needed here to get rid of all those bulky adapters and stuff, plus it's really satisfying
