Talon Khorus Speakers, powered by an Audio Research 300.2 amp, now there is a sony receiver there, I'm only using that as a dac now (its a STRV555ES) It was replaced by an Audio Research SP16 Vacuum Tube Preamplifier. that black Beast on the piece of wood is my Vpi TNT Mark I, I have since sold the SME IV arm and am saving up for a Trans Fi T3 pro. I also have a transcriptors Hydraulic Reference turntable, and am awaiting the arrival of a pair of Talon Peregrines (speakers)

New place, and a lot of new gear (well, it's all secondhand, but it's new to me). Here is a picture of the electronics in my listening room now:

On the rack, from top to bottom, I've got the MBL 1621A transport, MBL 1611F DAC, PS Audio Power Plant Premier, and MBL 6010D pre-amp. On the sides, I've got the MBL 9007 mono amps. The speakers are the same as before (MBL 111E). Not the tip-top of the line, but pretty good.

I usually only see that much mbl in promotional photos from mbl themselves... christ O.O

Congrat to another HeadFier with an understated and yet, sonically amazing preamp from First Sound. I myself have a First Sound Paramount Hot Rod MKIII with dual mono power cords and just 1 measly input.
