So far, they sound very good ! they have a natural midrange and sweet highs.. the Bass is descent for an 8” single woofer.. but some hard rockers wouldn’t find it adequate.. The bottom octave is weak for organ type music.. but it’s “there“. I wanted a non fatigue type sound, more musical, less analytical.. so Far I’ve been really pleased with the sound.. as it’s detailed and transparent and very involving! They were Also easy to setup.. They throw a wide sweet spot, which is nice too.. Thanks !

nice! what is your audio rack? also curious about the butcher block the speakers are on -- where did you get and how do they work?

the audio rack was from Michael Green Audio.. I’ve had it for 20 years now.. not sure if he’s still around.. it’s quite heavy.. but once setup, highly adjustable..
Those are 3” thick solid Maple blocks.. I recently purchased them from butcherblock audio.. i like the look and the height worked out well for me.. using some isolation pads underneath. M6 threaded for spikes or other feet If needed.. it would be best if I spiked the speakers and ground them into the wood.. I may eventually do that once I get used to the Sound as is.

What energizer, other than the srm-d10, do you use (upstairs) with the 009S? Do you use that stand all the time? Does it stretch the headband?during corona lick-down I brought my sr9s down to the living room

Re stand, normally I dont use it, but my wife likes it; typically it is in a box. Yes it slightly stretches the band. Attached a foto from above w srm 727a and the sr7What energizer, other than the srm-d10, do you use (upstairs) with the 009S? Do you use that stand all the time? Does it stretch the headband?
