My mostly Pioneer rack system from 1977 / 1978 - TX-9500 tuner, CT-F1000 tape deck, SG-9500 Equalizer, Spec 1 Preamp, Spec 2 Amp (250 wpc), Yamaha P-520 turntable, Sony CD player, Audioengine W2 wireless iDevice player, all fed into Klipsch KG 3.2 and Sansui S-1500 tower speakers.  A lifetime dream system - took me 51 years to get it.

Looks like a dream from 1977...The year I was born. Very well done indeed. That's a true classic stereo . . .

ok, the question is: does all those stuffs give significant improvements compared to a normal PC with DAC?

Yes it does. Just about the best upgrade per dollar over my Sony Vaio laptop.

Tho a few things got changed. The Asus Hero  MB got replaced by MSI MPower variant and I have started using DBPoweramp with Accurate rip for ripping. Not using any compression in FLAC vs 5 earlier. The result, the bit rate has gone up (always good news in my book) by not using any compression. Tried comparing with EAC for the rips but metadata was such a pain to fetch that I decided to  go with DBPoweramp without spending further time trying to compare the rips.  I think new DB rips sound better than (old ones on) JRM tho as a player JRM cannot be beat.

I posted this in the Mini Magnepan forum as well, but it still applies here...

EDIT: I guess it's pretty hard to see what's there.

DSPeaker Anti-mode Dual Core 2.0 => Parasound Halo A21 => Mini Maggie's + Magnepan DWM + SVS SB13 Ultra

With two acoustic diffusers and a bass trap
