Amazing, having owned a couple pair of PFEs in a galaxy far far away. I mean a long time ago.Courtesy of ItsFit Labs I have immortalised PFE 232 and 022 in custom form. They even accommodated filter. I'm truly speechless.
Get some planar IEM, it's the logic upgrade when it comes to speed and transparency (which was the Phonak's strong selling point).
I was a looooong time PFE 232 user but I upgraded to an AKG N5005 which is similar in a lot of ways (changeable filters, etc.) but overall better clarity (in my opinion) and better build quality. Just a bit finicky wrt fit/tips.
i’m using taobao DIY HJ stock cable with phonak tips now , sound a little more bassy than before but i’m satisfied with the result .
Post pictures for eye candy.April 2024 , my pfe 232 left bass driver stop working , cable … well .. let’s say it in horrible state , 12yo iem anyway.
I tried contact Tran Hieu from Soranik team to request a basic reshell pack, which will replace left side bass driver and give my 232 brandnew shell, switch to 2 pin connector for regular cable use. He said:”Your wish has been heard loud and clear”
They really did a great job , bye bye phonak stock cable
It's not sumthing fancy , just plain black universal shell
Free to test any other upgrade cable avaiable around market, but i dont have bat ear so the HJ stock cable is good enough
