I know you don't want any EQing but still, they can sound much smoother if you tame the upper mids. The frequency response might help.
I tried the Omega 2 today and on my way back home i found that the PFEs were still pretty smooth with my settings.
Black filters help but they are kind of messy and the upper mids still sound bright. I think it's better to keep the grey filters which are very easy to EQ around 3 Khz.

I received my replacement pair this afternoon. The cable started to expose on mine in late September, and during the meantime I had been using some Bang & Olufsen A8's.

Well, my ears are once again happy. The PFE's are the best buds I've had, period.

On the durability side, the cable seems much more rubbery, and the casing seems to be of a much more stable material.

Thanks to Bill Brownie at Audeo World for the amazing customer service over the past few months.

Props to Phonak from me as well. Mine just arrived. I can confirm the much more durable cable. More iBud-like rubber than what they previously used. Otherwise I cannot comment on SQ yet. Will have more to say later.

Here's another thanks to Bill for a first rate customer service. Great redesign of the total package, the cable has a much better feel. Comparing them briefly to my v0 PFE they sound the same, which is a very positive thing. It was worth the wait...

Who exactly do you contact if you want them replaced? I bought mine from an authorized dealer in Germany(I live in Norway), and I hope I don't have to pay for shipping of the PFEs.

I got my replacement yesterday. Thanks Bill and Audeo world for really great customer service.
I had a chance to listen to them last night…WOW, they are incredible IEM’s. Their sound is very balanced and natural so clear, you can hear all the micro details and there is no congestion with the sound stage. Definitely worth the wait!
