Phoenix-Scottsdale anyone?

Long time lurker here, just moved to Phoenix...I've always been more into home audio/video instead of headphone/portable stuff, but as the addiction/hobby grows...you know.

I'm in the market for a headphone amp, a non-portable. DIY or commercial, whatever. I don't have much of a collection yet, just a set of ATH-AD700 and Shure E500.

I'm here for all of December, so whatever day you all decide on, I should be able to make it work.

Looks like the group is leaning slightly toward a Sat, Dec 13th as a possible first choice date. Perhaps floydenheimer, xdeadpixel, and Tapiozona want to vote?

Anyone interested in hosting or know a place that might work?

Sounds like maybe 5-6 min up to maybe 7, 8, max at this point...

So next step...where? Anyone want to step up to help set a place up? I'm in Tucson so I'm not to familiar with where or what might work. House? Hotel? Office conference room? If we were down here I could pull it off, but most of you are up there somewhere in the Valley so it seems to make sense that someone up there should consider taking it on.

If we confirm a place we could start a list of who is bringing what gear for fun.

I just put in an offer on a condo so it's a possiblility I could host. Although I probably won't have it completely furnished by the 13th.

Id be down for a byoc meet for sure. Bring some foldable chairs and tables.

Whatever works...its all good. Really on some level all we need is power.

We all know a bathroom, water, carpet, AC are all just extras for the hardcore head-fier...lol. Just think of it as 4 hrs of head-fi camping without the snakes and mosquitoes!
