I was lucky to get myself a pair of X3 this week and I have to say they are really enjoyable to wear and listen to. Nice big airy sound yet well controlled and tight.

Also got the X3 for free, its a quite technical headphone for the price. Fast and neutral sounding.

Not sure what genre music goes best with this, perhaps ambient electronica or classical. They lack something for me in rock/metal, I rather pick up up Audeze LCD2C or my ZMF Aeolus for that. Also they are in a totally different price bracket.

They are quite similar to DT880 maybe some more mid presence.

The comfort and how breathable they are is a thumbs up, not a bad buy specially for the discounted prices.

For now they are in my 3 rotation headphones while I give them a go for some weeks.

They are really good.
A good allrounder.
A bit darker than grado/beyerdynamic.
Bass is good. But not so hard as DT1770.
needs power. Driving them in high gain with my magni
