They do look sexy. I wonder if their sound keep up to the hype.
 Next drop is expected to be in autumn. That means you must be lucky to get a pair before Christmas. (If there will be a third drop at all.) TH-610 seems to stir the water up a bit.

A very much easier way is to pick them from the sale-zone on head-fi.

For £165 (current retail price) I highly doubt, it is possible to find a pair of headphones that are more fun and more hi-fi than X2s. Honestly, for fun listening I'd be in trouble to find anything better under £500 with a proper amp or DAC.

Still love the X2's but they pretty much only come out for gaming (with Vmoda Mic)... the TH-x00 is too addicting (they are my newest full size HP so take that into account).

I don't like the stock cable. Much prefer the V-Moda.

+1 vote for the kabeldirekt pro series.  I find it a very well made and good sounding cable, easy enough to find on amazon.
 
did anyone try the alibaba cable that was posted earlier?

yes didnt think about the second cable. I just dont trust cables with in-line mute

It's a little pricey but the replacement iPhone cable for the Oppo PM-3 works perfectly.

Nope. Straight plug. Controls are nice though and the mic is solid for calls, etc.

It's not cheap and probably gonna break in like three months because I always wear jeans the straight plug is not appropriate specially when I set. Thanks for the suggestion though. If someone has another suggestion I'm all ears (or eyes in this case

The cost is 10% of the X2 and the price is just for the brand tho the quality is good.......aliexpress /ebay are good places if someone is on tight budget but no compromise in quality otherwise,imo.
