Hello guys,ı just need 2.5mm cable to my x2hr to use with fiio btr5.Any suggestions under 50$?
Also ı need new pair of earpads.Any suggestions of earpads ?
Thank you.
I forgot to reply about earpads sorry. I bought the Brainwavz XL round velour. They fit very well, better if you remove the old pads from the plastic fixing rings, then stick the new pads to the rings (see my pictures further up).

You can’t use the X2 with balanced cable.

Like fiio k3.I did some research ı found fiio k3.But its over my budget rn.I don’t know much about desktop amps.So I need recommendations guys.

Just use your BTR5, it works as a USB DAC/Amp

But I cant use btr5 on pc all the time.

You might be able to find a FiiO E10K for cheap, especially used. Or maybe something like the TempoTec Sonata HD PRO?

Meizu DAC Pro is supposed to be really good.

But I’m certainly no expert. Others may have better suggestions.

Philips X2HR/27 Pad Update

I contacted Philips' customer service a few weeks ago and their email chains are terrible. They finally get back to me saying they don't sell replacement parts, their email was terribly written, and told me to look here:

https://encompass.com/item/10937800/Philips/

The PN's for the pads:
996580008847 Right
996580008846 Left
`$33 USD each, but I think you have to be a dealer to order them.

I'll update this thread if I successfully order some.

C'mon Philips, stock these pads already!

I'd just go with the velour or micro suede pads from Brainwavz (link below). I have the velour on mine (as you'll see from previous pics I've posted). If you attach them to the rings with strong 3m double sided tape, they're great. They're actually more comfortable than the original pads. The velour is itchy in hot weather though, so the micro suede might be better:

$66 is overpriced IMO. For $125 I got a new set of pads AND a X2HR that was attached to the pads.
