My Swedish is pretty bad but their policy is outlined here: http://www.webhallen.com/se-sv/info/support_och_retur/angerratt

I believe it's the same as almost everywhere else - you have a 14 day cooling off period in which time you can return the item in pristine condition for a refund.  Opened items only applies to hygiene products, games, etc.

EDIT: This also explains it quite well: http://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/consumers/shopping/returning-unwanted-goods/index_en.htm

Yeah, but that only applies to when you order online, and not if you buy it from any of their stores which is what i was referring to :)

"Som konsument (privatperson) har du 14 dagars ångerrätt på köp gjorda via distans."
which in English roughly translates to:
"As a consumer (individual) you have 14-days of regretting period on purchases made by distance." (aka bought online and not on-site in their stores).

Ahh.  I've only ever ordered online from them, didn't even know they had storefronts.

Still sounds kind of suspicious though.  Gigantti storefronts here in Finland have the 14-day cooling off rule, even if opened.

Plus, lying is bad. :p

Well, i am not really lying to be honest, they have just never even asked me if i had opened the box. So i have never had to lie. I just walk into the store and tell them i bought this product and i regret my purchase and then i show the receipt and thats always it. Never had to tell them anything and they have never asked me. Why should i go in to the store and outright say something like 'yeah i bought this, then opened it and then resealed it again to return it' when they dont even ask. Now if they were to ask i would probably at least try and lie about it. But that has yet to happen :p

And Elgiganten (assuming thats what you mean) has the 14-day period even in-store here too. It is just, most stores dont, like Webhallen, or Inet.se or other sites :p

Thanks for posting this.....This might put the whole Gibson thing into end......Although i am surprised why did they suggested to return headphones initially and told us that "you are not supposed to see the glue".

Showing off my headphone cozy that was created by my very patient partner today.  3 poppers, stitched.

Why yellow?  I'd like to say it is to fondly remember my HD598, but really it's just what was in her scrap basket.

Nice mod. I did something similar with mine but using hosiery wrapped a few times around and held together with velcro strips. Since the strips and the hosiery are both black I can hardly tell its there.

I e-mailed Philips Sweden now and asked if they would be able to replace my headphones. When they answer i might ask that if they can replace them, if they can send one from their new batches (without the glue) :) If anyone is interested, i can update this thread with their answer and my response ^^

I would really like to not have to return these and have to buy another headphone since they sound so awesome except for the issues i am having :/
