Anyone here who had relationship with a HD600 and then preferred X2? I presume it is mostly the choice of music one listens to. But either way. I would like to hear X2 owners opinion about HD600 if own/owned them.

If you are familiar with the differences between the HD600 and HD650 I can give a comparison between the 650 and the X2, unfortunately never spent much time with an HD600...  Let me know if you are interested!

I am familiar with the differences.
As long as other forum members do not mind, I would love to hear your impressions.

I own both and i decided to sell HD 600. I prefer slightly V shaped sound, HD600 sounds to shouty in the vocals like listening music to telephone speaker. Also the soundstage is really narrow. There is some acoustic vocal oriented music that sounds better on sennheiser but i dont listen to it alot.

Just accept the fact there are some 'perverts' going for more and more details.  :)
Discovering the details is the same fun for them than discovering the perfect fullness of music is for us.

I agree that headphones should sound clear & not muffled... However, it shouldn'd sound hararsh or "sharp" either. Headphones lacking body sound hollow & separated...spoils enjoyment
