Philips Fidelio S1 and S2 - New IEMs with semi-closed back
Apr 14, 2015 at 2:45 AM Post #331 of 367
So I've found that the small buds seem to come out rather easily from my ears now.  Went back to the medium size and they were harder to get in, but gave a better seal and more bass.  I have a hard time keeping the left one from slowly sliding out, though.  After 30-60 seconds, the earbud tends to push itself out of my ear.  Are there any solutions for this?  I tried the foam ones which worked a little better because there is some friction from their sponge like surface that helps keep them in.  The smoothe plastic ones just slide out over time though.  I have to readjust them every minute or so which becomes very annoying.

i have a feeling your having issues because of the short nozzle on the s2s/ s1.

have you tried longer eartips?

Hmm, i can get these (s2) or the momentum iems cheaply (giftcard+30usd from my own pocket), both have gotten great reviews, has anyone heard both?

Btw seems like getting a deep fit with these will be difficult? i like it deep. Im a sennheiser guy but the tips that come with the fidelio seems waaaay better, so i'll probably get those.

Have you tried pulling your ear back when inserting them?

Hi there, are these S1 IEMs still a good choice?

Looking for an IEM that won't drop from my ears. Possible to buy alternative tips?

Why not buy a pair of IEMs that you pull over the ear if it is a problem? The m60 pro's are cheap and supposed to be really good. They are sexy as hell.

I had the S1 (similar to S2) and now I have Momentum IEMs - I prefer the sound of the sennheiser because they don't have that annoying highs and the volume keys work with Android.

*******it now i dont know what to do. Maybe i'll use the giftcard to buy something else (they had one of those quadcopters for 50 bucks and my card was for 50 bucks so i dont even have to add any money) and just save money and buy a pair of dunu 2000's next month, they seem sweeeeet. And i dont have a pair of hybrids yet.

Just purchased a pair of the S2's in white for my wife. She could care less what she listens to music on and had been using the generic headphones that came with her iPhone. One quick back and forth comparison with the S2s and she tossed her cheap ones into the trash before I could even ask what she thought.
