I was surprised when I got the headphone that the box wasn't damaged. I imagined that seen from Ace Ventura. I can't imagine why the mail moves better in the US then other countries.

Mine were in transit about 100 days, and just came in completely soaked, trashed, and still wet after already being in the country 5 days, through customs and the post office. I couldn’t even opt to return to sender. The box is mush, like the plastic Canada Post bag holding it together. Looks like it was transported in a suboceanic shipping container. Being off-site, I haven’t had a chance to open them, but I don’t think I’ll be plugging them into the Megatron or T2. I ordered the Live and Rock. Sad!

No kidding! The guys in receiving didn’t want to open it, can’t blame them. I might be able to get out to the office next week, but given the era we’re living in, I’ll probably just open it up to let it dry out first. There apparently is something inside. Regardless of what it is, I don’t think it’s getting plugged in. I’m not an amp tech.

This situation is unique to my order, which was delayed in transit for months, and looks to have been stored outside at some point. Most folks here received their headphones just fine over the years.

Indeed, since the time of the coronavirus, we have not yet sent parcels to Canada, as I wrote earlier, before the coronavirus, parcels to any part of the Earth took exactly two weeks. Regarding Canada, when the package began to be catastrophically delayed, he contacted a friend of mine who has a Facebook group "Analog Sound" and he sends all over the world tape tapes with the first high quality copies, he said that Russia has such a problem with Canada, his parcels went there for 90+ days. It's easier with America, even here there is a guy who posted photos of blue headphones on the previous pages, I sent him the headphones on February 11 and he received them long ago, and Jeremy sent them to Canada on February 2 (!), That is, even 9 days earlier and now. .. such an unpleasant situation.

No impressions, but I was wearing N95. They’re actually still heavy with water. I’ll let you all know when I get the outstanding out-of-pocket amount ($790 CAD) refunded. Sad!

Horror!!! EMC may be a good company, but when Russian mail is involved, this is what it leads to. Definitely need to look for another supplier. Although everyone probably has exceptions, this is still one such case, at least in our country.

Well, to get back to the headphones. I continue to enjoy mine. They have more slam but with all of the air that my Stax SR-404s have. They just win hands down over my Grado GH2s. I haven't owned a lot of hi-end headphones and the Perun Rock make me feel like not buying any more.
I probably will want another pair for travel something closed backed and not a difficult load to drive. I can enjoy my Apple AirPods Max, but they are hot and heavy and just don't sound great.

Just shipped the Rock back. Arthur is going to put in the new bass drivers in. Which be awesome if it gives same bass as 1266. It seems Perun has speaker tech but doesn't talk about it. If they put two diaphragm I would patent my headphone and mention it. Whatever they do it works.
