Nice!
New version looks about 20 years newer than my last SXH 0.5v. Good to see the volume knob change to a bigger and grippier. I wish the casing match the front plate as well.

I think that qualifies as "Pr0n" lol. Nice pic, and it makes me look forward to getting my DT770s! Hmm yours is a 250 i see, I'm getting the 80ohm version.

Awesome looking amp. I'm just a sucker for big knobs (or a bigger knob in this case).

I wish ... Perreaux had just sent me an email this morning. I am a registered owner of SXH1 ver 0.5
The pic is off the link in post #1 ... i quickly posted the thread then had to leave ... didn't even get time to check out the specs.

There are some more pics in the email that was sent. Let me know if anyone wants them posted. There is a little blue LED on front. they have added a gain switch on the back.

I wonder what price point they will sell these for. SXH1 [aka dinkyknob] will probably be available at a much lower price.

We need a nickname for SXH2.

This is their wording of the changes from SXH1:

SXH2 Electronic Changes
- Newly designed highest quality fibreglass printed circuit board
- WIMA capacitors used for all small signal stages and decoupling
- Elna electrolytic capacitors used throughout
- High/Low gain selector switch to accommodate the widest range of headphone sensitivities and impedances
- Front panel blue LED power indicator
- Improved earthing circuitry
- Higher quality potentiometer
- Improved heat sinking
- Different bias transistor
- Increased transistor gain in VA stage
- Higher constant current through driver transistors

Mechanical Changes
- High quality, large volume control knob
- Satin Chrome Electroplate finish front panel
- PCB mounting bolts used to firmly couple the PCB to the chassis
- Improved cover fixing solution
- Improved packaging solution

I haven't read anything about balanced outputs.

My mistake ... there is a gain switch on back of SXH2, not XLR outputs [made correction to post#8].

XLR outputs are on all-new Perreaux SXL2 Line stage buffer.
