The very beginning of Supermassive Black Hole by Muse. It feels like when you wade out a few yards into the ocean and you get hit by a wave that knocks you down and engulfs you, but it feels GOOD.

My favorite moment in a song ever has to be the final moments of of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture right from the lead-up down to the finale with the cannons.

The outro section in This is Music by the Verve - a glorious cacophony.

The start of House of Cards by RadioHead - the vocals coming in sneaks up on you every time.

Doves - Cedar Room - perfect.

The guitars in Take Everything by Mazzy Star.

and of Course the Opening to Wish You Were Here.... remembering the feeling when I first played it right on the guitar comes back every time I here it.

Awseome thread by the way OP, nice to talk about music and not gear....

Between 12-15 minutes of Yes' At the Gates of Delirium on Relayer is the most perfect riff ever, and beautifully executed.

one of my favorites is actually a mistake but it so fits and is in a beautiful song.

"I saw her again" by the Mommas and Poppas.

Near the very end Denny comes in early with "i saw her" before the rest of the group sings "i saw her again last night"

John Phillips (yes Mckenzie's dad) said he would have written it that way if he had known how well it would come out.

2nd place would got to Van Morrison in the song "Caravan" again very near the end he adds "hope you will" to the chorus of "turn it up, turn it up, radio"

Beginning of "I'm not a Hero" from the Dark Knight Soundtrack.

Last 1-2 minutes of both Mendelssohn and Tchaikovsky Violin Concertos.
