The blower fan exhausts really warm air.

There are these things that are like... lap top fans, they are shaped like a V and one flat end sits on your lap and the other positions your lap top slanted, with fans on the bottom pulling out even more hot air U should get one of those xD

Those are usually not especially effective.

My guess is dust, bad thermal paste or a broken fan. The remedy is to either open it up and blow away the dust, repaste it or just send it in to HP, alternatively buy the sparepart and mount it himself. That's just my guess though.

how are they not effective, if your lap top sits directly on your lap there is no place for the heat to go, it just collects in your well pants or on your blanket, at teh least this thing creates a better sense of air flow by moving it from off the ground, giving a palce for the heat being pulled out of the Lap Top to go,

but yea if your fans are dusty and your ThermalPaste is bad, this won't fix anything. Make sure your Lap Top Is clean [have one clean it, see if HP will do it] and have your thermal re applied, after doing those then the... Mounting do dad, should work, but honestly you don't really need one of those, just do like I do. Get a BIG hard cover book, and place a couple of Folded up sheets of paper at the back end of your lap top and PRESTO, you've for an air vent of sorts.

I air dust my vents once every month.

I have my laptop on a table, I never use it on a blanket, or carpet, or lap, that block the vents. I know that for a fact.

Need halp on choosing a mouse: I'm tied between the Logitech G500 and the CM Storm Sentinel Advance II. (Yes, I'm very indecisive with this stuff, as with the keyboards.)

The Logitech G500 has better feedback then the CM Storm Sentinel, on Newegg.
Get the G500.

Get the Razer DeathAdder. It's just about the only Razer product I would ever recommend to someone and for good reason. It's one of the best mice ever made.

+1 on the Sidewinder X5. Mine died last week. :(

I replaced it with a Perixx MX-2000, which is really very good for the money - 5000dpi, 11 buttons, braided cable, 1MHz polling rate and a bunch of macro and customisable configs through the(actually pretty good) software nice contoured shape, although right hand only, great mouse for the £20 I paid. It's pretty heavily OEM rebadged, so you can find it as the sharkoon drakonia and a few other names too.

I personally would never pay over £40 for a gaming mouse. That kinda peripheral money is reserved for niche stuff imo, like the 3DConnexxion stuff and Wacom tablets.
