btw what are peoples thoughts on the GTX750 ti?

im not a big gamer, i do care about power usage and it seems like a great balance between them.  though i realise for the same money a 265 or 270 is prob findable but amd wise id be more looking at the 260x.

so thoughts an the 750ti vs 260x, pros cons etc etc.

I did a bit of reading on it last week

It seems the general conclusion of it is that while it isn't anything inspiring in a performance to price ratio compared to the lower 2xx series by AMD (260/265)

It's main awesomeness is in how much performance it can get per watt and what this means for the future of board designs, cooling, and performance per W.

A few Crypto miners have found that the 750Ti's actual pull W is actually about half of what is advertised (this may only be for specific cards, but so far, it seems to hold true for the others) making it extremely alluring as a card deal to miners that have to pay for electricity.

It's awesome as far as power efficiency goes, but for performance per dollar, it's fairly weak. The 260x is slightly better as far as performance goes.

Whichever one is less expensive at this point since almost all AMD cards are waaaay above MSRP right now as far as I'm concerned.

Hurray! Graphics card came today for my PC! Now I just need....everything else.

Nice, did you get this through the rebate deal of $110?

Nice :)

750 is good for people that either don't have the PCIE or a good enogh PSU. I like that about the GTX 750, that it opens the doors to people with old desktop OEM's that want to do a bit of STEAM gaming they have heard a lot about.

I bought it for $120 actually. I used this because I bought a 430w PSU (Shipping) and I didn't want to use all that wattage incase I wanted to upgrade. There's a small mystery package I got In the mail that I didn't open yet. By the weight and size, probably my CPU.

Depending on what else is in your system, you could field an ok GPU. (also depends on how good your PSU is)

What did you buy again? Parts list I mean.

I think it'll be alright as long as multipools stay away from ghash.

There were a couple of rounds where the hashrate went >40gh/s but it seems to have dipped down back to 25ish, so the rewards are still 2x.

Dayum, awhile ago I mentioned that we pay for 25Mb/2.5MB per second and I was amazed when it spiked to 40Mb/4MB per second. Here I am downloading Titanfall and it rose and sat at 1.5Gb/15Mb per second... I
