Any link to that air conditioner? I had a vapochill XE once that could be a solution if you want even more efficient cooling and not have the drawbacks of AC. Downside is that they generally only cool the CPU.

Are you talking about the EVO? This is the one I got; though not from newegg. I got it around $20 on sale. I think it occasionally drops below 20 but I havent really been following it anymore.

i used to have a hyper 212+. honestly the best budget heatsink. decided to upgrade to a water cooler though cause my first gen i5 runs pretty warm at 1.4v, not to mention my two ati cards heating up my whole case. who needs space heaters in the winter when you got a desktop

Oh if someone else mentioned something like then I'm not sure; this is just a after market fan+heatsink.

Then I don´t understand how it can cool down the room to much. If the cooling is so efficient it will just remove the heat from the case into your room faster :)

It doesn't cool down my room. My computer just doesn't HEAT up my room anymore lol. And its winter now and I'm trying to wait as long as possible before turning the gas on so having my computer heat my room would've been nice. I also used to own the gtx 480 which ran really hot. The windforce 670 is just like.. atleast 20 deg C cooler all the time >_>

Not a fan of ATI.crappy graphics cards.i had the 6950 and it went to 70 degrees+ on any game i play until something went faulty on it.They replaced it for me and the same heat problem happened so i switched to nividea. 30 degrees less heat and night and day difference in noise.its not even close.
the heat problem can be an issue as summer times here can go up to 38 degrees so my AC is up all the time.
