PC Authority decides to review Earphones and In-Ear Monitors

Mini roundup: 5 budget earbuds to replace your iPod earphones
Mini roundup: 7 sound-isolating in-ear headphones

Also of interest for the 'full-size headphones' users...
Mini roundup: 8 high-end headphones
Mini roundup: 4 noise-cancelling headphones

What do you think of their reviews? Should they stick to what they know (i.e. PCs)?

Eh, I've never taken these reviewing magazines seriously so I don't really care what they put so long as they don't put SkullCandy or Bose on top.

The detail in the reviews is a bit skimpy and the rating system a bit to generic for me but not a bad quick read. Nothing I would use to make a purchase decision on though.

Pleasantly surprised with the review. I was expecting the usual blind praise towards Bose and Skullcandy.

"You'll not only hear new sounds in familiar tracks, you'll feel new emotions too. For instance, deep regret at having spent all of your savings on headphones." -when talking about the Grado GS1000i.

This is a fair assessment that I think many here will agree with. lol.
