Power supply for Pathos Aurium (EU market).

Thanks for the picture ! What are your thoughts about the amp with the hd800 ?  Thanks

I'm loving it with the HD800's, drives them really well. Soundstage seems even wider with this amp and I'm picking up loads of new detail on familiar recordings. Possibly the best amp I've used with them yet, and I've tried a few! Doesn't have a warm sound really, but it's certainly not bright either, pretty neutral I'd say.

I nearly bought the Trilogy 933 amp,  but glad I didn't because this is more than half the price and sounds just as good IMO. Build is excellent, really solid and the silver is a perfect match for my Cyrus kit

Great deal from Audio Oasis here in the UK.

I did. Certainly not worth paying that much more for the Trilogy amp. Soundstage on the Pathos was a little wider, which is probably down to the tubes. The Aurium is a bargain IMO.

In the event anyone is interested, I just reviewed it:

Nice amp.

How does this amp compare to the Schitt Lyr ?  As this amp is x3 in price with a similar circuit, would like to know how they compare ?

Unfortunately I did not have the Lyr around to compare the two, and in fact had not had the Lyr in a long enough time that I cannot offer any real guidance there. Both fine amplifiers, to be sure.
