Yeah my dad asked me when I told him I bought £60/$110 headphones "why the hell do you need such expensive headphones?". I just said to him "for the amount of time I wear headphones, I may aswell get good ones". And that was that heh.

Heh, the thread title cracks me up! I can understand if it was:

" parents caught me with my girlfriend...."

or

" parents caught me with alcohol....."

but headphones? Just sounds funny.

If you truly do have the money, do you really have to explain yourself and your purchases? Is it your money, or your parent's money that they give to you to spend appropriately?

Try having your wife come home holding the mail - and there's a package from Bulgaria in there. You open it and there's your solitary 7DJ8 tube.

"That's just stupid."

I still live with my parents, but I think they consider me border-line dumb for paying as much as I do...which is cool, because they make me "snacks" and stuff because I think they're worried about me burning down the house with my retardedness v_v.

Put this pic in the first post, and the original thread title is just as funny.

But would it matter? It used to be that you listen to your parents regardless.

It would obviously be a different story if I spent at this rate when I was still in high school.

Heh! Pretty much same story here--headphones from parents (Koss though), healthy respect for money, etc. etc...
