The Oriveti O400 are stealing all of my listening time since 2 weeks. Honeymoon phase is over now. A review is on its way, most likely by the end of the summer.
Btw, I have contacted Oriveti, asking for a custom version, eventhough it’s not on their catalog.
Custom O400 ordered. I asked Marco Lin to be creative with the faceplates and the shells while keeping the nice dark color tone from the universal. Let’s see what Oriveti can do.

Interested to see how this plays out, recently had demo’s of the o400 and oh500 (along with Solaris, Vega and others, big thanks to Oscar @ hifiheadphones.co uk) and it turns out my ear shape does not suit ‘universal’ iem shells (I even struggle with getting a good seal/ insertion depth with final e5000’s) and have been considering custom tips.

Ok, this is an important point. I have the E5000 too and if you cannot get a proper seal with these bullets, you most likely will face issues with universal IEMs in most cases. With the E5000, you might want to try Xelastec SS tips. Otherwise, the custom way seems appropriate in your case.
Be sure to read more from me about the CiEM and Universal O400 after the summer holidays.
Oriveti seems to struggle finding a third-party vendor being able to manufacture my O400 CIEM… I have canceled my order. Random QC is not my dope. Well, no big harm, the « uni » O400 are amazing and will remain as such.
Yes, the last two efforts from Oriveti did not get a wide coverage. It’s a bit of a shame. I heard the O800 are more reference sounding and the O400 a bit more natural.
