I'm using Fiio HS18 tips from aliexpress. They are like better-built spin tips Sp145. Please remember that we don't have your ears or exact setup so tip selection doesn't always work the same way for different people. :L3000::ksc75smile: :slight_frown:

The SZA sounds fine and dandy on my M8 in turbo mode. It sounds better on my desktop. That's all, don't over think it.
Well said!!! The SZA sounds wonderful on all my sources, even the tiny Qudelix. But adding some power on the DX240 gives it some extra sweetness that makes it hard to put down.

SZA loves tubes!
I don't have a desk tube amp, but i have the little B4-X which I haven't taken out in a good while. Maybe it's time to experiment with some combinations lol

Considering both the Szalayi and Xenns up. Mostly as an upgrade to Penon serial. I like the i3 pro a lot. Big fan of the dd-planar-ba combination. The Szalayi graph is quite different, while the up and serial are pretty close. Most Szalayi reviews/impressions don’t seem to match the graph though. Is the Szalayi a step above the Up?

TRI Clarion, for me best tips for Szalayi. More air, better soundstage and same the best basssssss :)
I definitely need to give these a try. They look similar to the Azla light. But those and many others like the Moon drop tips seem to dampen the overall quality and soundstage of the SZY. The only tips that give me excellent sound are the Azla Sedna Xelastic
