i tried thor silver ii plus but they were too bulky. the thor silver ii is not as thick sounding as thor silver ii plus.

i tried twau as well. it has more dynamics (softer soft and louder loud) and has better attacks.

twau also sounded more cramp than thor silver ii but the mid is sweeter and sounded more natural. thor silver ii is more spacious (3d) and very clear in every spectrum.

thor silver ii will make everything sounds like iron. it actually changes persona or the fell of an iem. so basically it is either a very positive or very negative change.

my oriolus came with the stock oriolus cable 6n copper and not pw no5. i tried pw no5 and couldnt really feel much differences between the stock 6n copper ans pw no5.

thor silver ii gave my oriolus a more 3d soundstage, sweeter mid, better bass, dynamic and a different sound.

still, i dont recommend anyone to buy anything without audtion...

Is there a chinese edition of mk2 for around 750 to 850. What's different to original version?

yup it is around 750 to 780.

the difference is the cable.

orioulus comes with 3 types of cable.

pw no5, chinese 6n copper (original) and a greyish color cable

Still not sure if Oriolus is worth double price of forsteni. Forsteni seems to have quite a good comfort for wearing long time. It's also a bit smaller.

forsteni doesnt worth the price. i think sony series is much better than forsteni such as the sony n3ap.

i am actually not hooking the cable onto my ears. it has a swallow fit but will not fall off during casual listening.

have you listen to oriolus before? i suggest you to always listen to them before buying.

No, I haven't listened to oriolus because I can't here in europe. But was I have read I think oriolus is a secret tip and maybe even not very knowed in usa. I'll skip my other two competitors because they are too expensive or not available. U12 and Noble K10. For me as I listen a lot of female vocals I think oriolus mk2 is a good chance to try out...
