Looks like not related to the filename length. There are some other odd things when using the EQ, I give up to fix them, planned to upgrade to DX200

If only DX200 sounds as good to me... For some songs, I managed to play them when I shorten the filenames though... Always a bit of hit or miss with obscure players.

I feel Cayin is warmer than DP100. But still feels their is a power signature element that I think add's something else to the DP100

Thanks, I am afraid of the "trimming" issue with DSF, and in general undecided whether to give it a go or move to something else (i.e. Soundaware M1 Pro). I am coming from Aune M2 Pro, and overall I am happy with it, but liked the idea of having something a bit more detailed (without sacrificing smoothness, to say) and with more than just a line-out.

Yeah will write up notes in the next coming days. Had also recently bought the HiBy R3 and Colorfly C10 recently but have dedicated the last few days going back to the Oriolus DP100. Let me just say that I would have no regret if I were to sell my Opus#1 (still a pretty good dynamic and technical dap at this price range)
